Gas Sensor Caratec CEA100G

Detects all usual anesthetic gasses such as propane/ butane (LPG), carbon monoxide or knockout gases and warns with an extra-loud alarm tone, before the anesthetic effect of the gases can kick in. For doing this, the CEA100G reacts to even the smallest amount of gas in the ambient air, protecting humans and animals alike, also at night.If the sensor detects a gas concentration in the ambient air, it generates a pre-alarm of 40 seconds. If the gas concentration stays the same during that time or even increases, the sensor emits a continuous alarm tone and the red LED remains permanently on. If after the alarm no gas concentration can be detected, the gas sensor switches back to its standby mode. The power supply of the gas sensor is done directly via the vehicle's own 12 V on-board grid. Up to 2 additional sensors can be connected.
