Step Tread Fiat Ducato

The step treads for the original Fiat Ducato driver's cap manufactured since 2006, as well as vehicles with identical construction.

Aluminium profile with screwed, synthetic safety cover at the edges and anti-slip profile. The step tread is screwed safely to and under the vehicle's crossbeam via the vehicle-specific stainless steel brackets included upon delivery.

The problem: Due to its construction, the Fiat Ducato's first step is situated inside the driver's cab on a height of 46 cm above ground. To surmount this height difference, drivers often misuse their steering wheel to climb into the vehicle. This is not possible for the passenger, as no such aid is within his reach. Due to this height difference of 46 cm, getting in is uncomfortable and tiring.

The solution: With the tread steps, the height difference is cut in half down to 23 cm. The steps are adaptable and adjustable to the existing vehicle construction in vertical position. This is done via entirely vertical profiles at the bottom of every tread. Thus, the set of tread steps can be adjusted specifically to the different vehicle bodies.
