Switch-operated, extension and retraction is carried out by a reliable 12-volts motor.
The mounting frame is made of corrosion-protected steel (single steps) or aluminium (double steps), foot boards and side plates are made of anodised aluminium, edges are rounded. The endcaps are made of black plastic. The step treads feature anti-slip foot boards, which can be easily replaced on older models. Motor and gear wheels are housed in a box made of shock-proof plastic.
