Oyster® Access and EasyNet V1

Mobile internet just like at home- also while driving!

Adjusted to campers' needs

Like all products by ten Haaft, the new internet systems Oyster® Access and Oyster® EasyNet have been developed with the real needs of campers in mind. The benefit of such systems is that all devices within the vehicle can use a joint internet connection. This happens by providing a private dual band WiFi and a cable-bound LAN within the vehicle, resulting in 3 separate WiFi modules.

The connection between the Oyster® Access/ the Oyster® EasyNet and the internet can be established in 2 different ways:

  • Via a LTE-connection over the mobile network with a SIM-card inserted by the customer
  • Using a locally available, publicly accessible WiFi (e.g. on the campsite/ camping pitch or another public WiFi hotspots)

The tried and tested has been retained and yet everything is new

With the Oyster® Access as well as the Oyster® EasyNet, the system consists of an electronics unit installed in the vehicle and a exterior antenna mounted onto the vehicle's roof. The connection between the electronics unit and the exterior antenna is established via Oyster® Access and Oyster® EasyNet in the very classic manner via 4 high-quality, coaxial antenna cables.

Different from the Oyster® Connect, the entire electronics is concentrated in a shared and compact housing in the vehicle's interior. This allows that the SIM card readers can be stored easily accessible at the front of the Oyster® Access and Oyster® EasyNet.

A new, active thermal management ensures an undisturbed operation, especially in warm environments.
