With maintenance charging of the vehicle starter battery
VOTRONIC charge controllers with technically sophisticated Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) are suitable for all commercially available solar panels. They feature not only an additional connection for recharging or maintaining the vehicle starter battery but also have an additional switching output "AES". This controls the automatic switching from gas to 12 V operation for absorption refrigerators with "AES" when there is a sufficiently large power surplus from the solar panels. The charging program can be set for lead-acid, gel, AGM and LiFePO4 batteries.
