Thanks to a new type of circuit technology, MT CDS Power Line solar panels are far less sensitive to partial shade than all conventional solar panels. Particularly in the mobile sector, this results in a higher yield when – depending on the location – it cannot be avoided that branches, an attached roof box, the satellite system or an open skylight partially shade the solar panels. CDS panels are equipped with 44 monocrystalline high-performance cells and should always be used in combination with an MPP charge controller for optimum performance. Due to the special and complex assembly process of these solar panels equipped with 44 cell diodes, they are also manufactured in an assembly centre in Germany. A robust, all-round aluminium frame protects the cells, which are completely embedded in special safety glass.
