Seit 1990 schützt Buschmann Insektenschutzmittel Outdoor-Profis, Sportbegeisterte und �berseereisende vor blutsuchenden, krankheitsträchtigen Insekten. Mit einem Schutz von bis zu 13 Stunden aus einer einzigen Anwendung hebt sich Buschmann DEET 40 % als das am längsten anhaltende und nicht fettende Insektenschutzmittel ab. Es fühlt sich gut an und hat einen angenehmen Geruch. Sowohl für tropische Bestimmungen (Malaria, Dengue und Gelbfieber) als auch für europäische Gebiete geeignet. DEET ist die Abkürzung für N,N-Diethyl-m-toluamid (oder N, N-Diethyl-3-methylbenzamid). Wirkt gegen stechende Insekten, aber auch gegen Zecken. Das Mittel muss auf die unbedeckte Haut aufgetragen werden.
