Το βήμα πέλματος που λειτουργεί με διακόπτη, τραβώντας μέσα και σπρώχνοντας έξω από τα σκαλοπάτια πραγματοποιείται με κινητήρα 12-V. Equipped with a fixation frame made of corrosion-protected steel (Single Steps), or aluminium (Double Steps), the tread surface and side plated of the step tread are made of anodised aluminium, the edges and angles have been rounded. The end caps are made of black plastic. The tread steps provide anti-slip step plates; these can be replaced easily at older models. With the electric version, motor and cogwheels are stored inside a shock-resistant, plastic box.
